PlayStation Plus Classic Games & Time-limited Trials enthüllt

Sony hat den PlayStation Plus Classic Games Katalog enthüllt, der in den PlayStation Plus Premium- und Deluxe-Plänen im neuen dreistufigen PS Plus-Abonnementdienst enthalten sein wird. Eine Mischung aus originalen PlayStation- und PSP-Spielen wird PS2 Classic Games, die für PS4 veröffentlicht wurden, und (für den Premium-Plan) PS3-Spiele, die per Game-Streaming spielbar sind. Daneben hat Sony ein halbes Dutzend PS4- und PS5-Spiele angekündigt, die über eine zeitlich begrenzte Testversion spielbar sein werden. Ein Vorteil für PS Plus Premium- und Deluxe-Abonnenten.

Beginnen wir mit den PS1- und PSP-Klassikern. Diese wurden, wo möglich, mit höheren Bildraten und Auflösungen verbessert, wobei einige Spiele auch Speicherzustände aufweisen, wie es viele Emulatoren tun. Als nette Geste können diejenigen, die diese Spiele zuvor gekauft haben, sie neu emuliert auf PS4 und PS5 spielen, ohne PS Plus zu benötigen.
